Job Description:

Hydro Extrusions is a leading aluminium extrusion company with around 100 production sites in 40 countries and 20,000 employees. We offer a wide range of products from standard profiles to advanced solutions across various industries.

Our goal is to create a fair society and circular economy by producing responsibly, delivering circular solutions, achieving net-zero aluminium by 2050 or earlier, and utilizing renewable energy sources.

Sustainable Procurement involves integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals into procurement and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Procurement team in building strong, long-term supplier relationships focused on environmental, social, and ethical performance.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance within Hydro Extrusions.
  • Coordinate with Hydro Corporate to ensure relevance of requirements and tools.
  • Develop and update sustainability and integrity due diligence procedures, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Create guidelines and templates for implementation across categories and sites.
  • Become a super user of market platforms for supplier rating (e.g., EcoVadis, PwC tools).
  • Assist business units in implementing procedures.
  • Report on ESG and legal compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate on methods to measure and reduce Scope 3 emissions.
  • Embed sustainability into procurement decisions and evaluation criteria.
  • Promote projects that reduce waste and increase circularity.
  • Standardize and digitalize supplier monitoring (SAP).
  • Develop communication materials for suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support for procurement and suppliers.
  • Support certifications related to sustainability in the supply chain (e.g., ASI, Cradle to Cralde).

Key Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields like Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
