Sustainability Manager – Ethical Sourcing & Traceability

Are you passionate about transforming supply chains into engines for positive change? Do you have a track record of driving sustainability in fast-paced, global environments, especially across fashion, apparel, or retail?

A fashion brand is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead initiatives in ethical sourcing, material traceability, and environmental impact reduction. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role working closely with design, sourcing, logistics, ESG, and compliance teams across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ethical sourcing programs across Tier 1–3 suppliers globally
  • Develop and roll out traceability frameworks to track materials and product journeys, leveraging platforms like TrusTrace or similar tools
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement responsible sourcing standards aligned with certifications (e.g., GOTS, Fair Trade, FSC)
  • Drive LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) analysis and support scope 3 carbon data collection
  • Engage internal stakeholders across design, supply chain, compliance, and ESG to embed sustainability into decision-making
  • Support ESG reporting requirements (CSRD, GRI) with accurate supply chain sustainability data
  • Monitor emerging legislation and adapt supplier policies accordingly (e.g., EU Due Diligence Act)

Your Background

  • 3+ years in a sustainability-focused role, ideally within fashion, retail, or consumer goods
  • Demonstrable experience in ethical sourcing, traceability, or sustainable materials
  • Hands-on with supplier engagement and standards such as Sedex, SA8000, ISO14001, etc.
  • Familiarity with LCA tools, product passports, and ESG data tracking platforms
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of CSRD/SFDR/GRI is a plus
