£10,500 per annum (£35,000 FTE)
England Athletics is the membership and development body for athletics and running in England. We work in partnership with the wider athletics family, especially our member clubs and bodies, UK Athletics, Sport England & commercial partners, to grow opportunities for everyone to experience our sport and to enable them to reach their full potential. England Athletics also provides national-level competition and is responsible for athlete development beneath world-class performance levels.
England Athletics is a membership organisation with approximately 1,770 member clubs/bodies and approximately 166,000 registered athletes. It exists to provide services and support to its members, promote and deliver athletics and running activities across all ages, ability levels, and aspirations, and support the wider sport where more than 6 million people run each month in England, including 3,500 licensed road races and 206,991 active RunTogether participants operating in over 3,287 groups.

We are seeking a Sustainability Manager on a permanent basis. The role involves leading the operational delivery of our sustainability initiatives. Working closely with The Green Runners, the post holder will support sustainability practices within our network of athletics and running clubs and develop models to encourage more licensed events to adopt sustainability principles.
The postholder will work with internal champions to embed sustainability thinking across the organization and oversee updates to the sustainability strategy in collaboration with external agencies and the Head of Commercial.
