Sustainability Manager
As a central player in the global transition towards renewable energy, NKT is continuously reducing the environmental impact of its activities. To be able to move faster we are now expanding and strengthening our organisation with a Sustainability Manager, including social sustainability, with a focus on social value for High Voltage Solutions in the UK (based in North Scotland).
In this role you will be part of developing and supporting the implementation of NKT's Sustainability strategy towards our business line. You will also support our daily business to ensure a timely and correct reporting of our sustainability data. You will be working closely with a network of internal and external stakeholders, including a team of environmental specialists and sustainability experts committed to advancing our business toward our targets. You are expected to serve as the primary point of contact for sustainability on the projects, ensuring alignment with the client’s expectations and requirements.
As a dedicated Social Value Lead you will commit to delivering a meaningful, measurable impact across our projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for embedding social value into every stage of the project lifecycle — from planning and procurement to delivery and legacy. You’ll work closely with project teams, local stakeholders, and supply chains to drive initiatives such as local employment, apprenticeships, community engagement, and sustainability.
