But we can't do this without you.

About the Role

We are seeking a Sustainability Manager with a strong focus on Social Impact (c. 70% of the role) to lead the design and delivery of community-focused initiatives across our global portfolio of data center projects. The role will also contribute significantly to carbon accounting and data management, ESG reporting, and sustainability training, ensuring Yondr maintains transparency, accountability, and leadership in sustainability.

Main Responsibilities
Social Impact (c. 70%)
  • Lead the implementation of Yondr's Social Impact Strategy (Welcome Neighbour, Global Citizen) across projects and operations.
  • Develop and deliver community engagement strategies from project inception through to operations, tailored to local needs.
  • Collaborate with teams to conduct community needs assessments and manage project-level social impact action plans.
  • Collaborate with teams to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including project teams, general contractors, charities, community groups, and universities.
  • Measure, monitor, and report on social impact outcomes, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Act as a key internal advocate for social impact, helping to embed community benefit into project design, procurement, and delivery.
Carbon Accounting
  • Collect, validate, and manage Yondr's global emissions data across scopes 1, 2, and relevant scope 3.
  • Ensure alignment with the GHG Protocol and other relevant reporting frameworks.
  • Coordinate the process for annual external assurance and reporting of emissions data.
  • With the support of Yondr's Sustainability team, work with internal teams to identify and track emissions reduction opportunities.
Other Responsibilities
  • Work with the Sustainability Team to design and deliver sustainability training across the business.
  • Contribute to ESG reporting, ensuring accurate and timely provision of sustainability data for clients, investors, and industry disclosures.
  • Support transparency in sustainability communications internally and externally, positioning Yondr as a responsible and forward-looking global operator.
  • Respond to client and investor information requests on sustainability performance as required.
Qualifications and experience
  • Degree in an environmental or sustainability-related field is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrable experience in social impact strategy development and community engagement, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships with a wide range of partners (from contractors to community organisations).
  • Strong project management, data management, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage, influence and present to diverse audiences.
  • International experience and cultural awareness desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a positive and proactive way.
  • Understanding of carbon accounting and reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience that demonstrates a passion for sustainability.
  • Comfortable working in a high growth and rapidly changing industry.
