A leading construction company in Birmingham is seeking a Sustainability Manager to ensure the integration of sustainability into all site operations. This role involves working closely with project teams and the Head of Sustainability, driving technical outcomes and engaging with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction sustainability, delivering projects with a focus on BREEAM and carbon metrics.

Sustainability Manager – site based in Birmingham

A new opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Manager to join our client, a Midlands-based Construction Group delivering high-quality projects across the region. Working closely with the Head of Sustainability, wider sustainability team, and your aligned project teams, you’ll ensure that sustainability is embedded across all site operations and champion continuous improvement.

The successful Sustainability Manager will:

• Have a proven track record in construction, delivering technical sustainability outcomes across areas such as BREEAM, carbon, reporting, data, engagement, and contributing to bids and tenders.
• Be a self-starter, with the motivation and initiative to lead on sustainability without the need for constant oversight.
• Have the confidence and communication skills to engage effectively with people at all levels across projects and the wider business.
• Ensure that accurate, meaningful sustainability data is captured and reported throughout project delivery.
