Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to support the Anglian Water region (Peterborough or Norwich) with hybrid working. The role will lead on environmental and sustainability aspects across Water Recycling projects and contribute to delivering a capital investment programme.

You will ensure compliance with environmental legislation and Alliance standards, prepare site‑specific project documentation, and support construction teams while promoting best practices to

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental subject matter including: Contaminated Land, Statutory Nuisance, Waste Management, Soil Testing, Ecology, Archaeology, Incident investigation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; problem solving and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in producing project documentation using Excel, Word, GIS and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead on environmental and sustainability issues for construction projects.
• Prepare and review environmental documentation and provide onsite support to construction teams.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and support strategic priorities with the Environment and Sustainability Managers.
