A well-funded, high-growth climate tech company is looking for a Sustainability Expert (Financed Emissions) to join their Customer Operations team. Their platform is already being used by leading enterprises across industries — helping them meet reporting standards, gain insight, and take action. With backing from some of the world’s top VCs including Octopus Ventures and Y-Combinator and a client base that includes household names, the company is scaling fast.

The Role

You’ll be the expert voice at the intersection of sustainability and software — helping clients unlock value through high-trust carbon data, especially around financed emissions. You’ll work closely with customers, product and engineering, and even join sales conversations to bring technical credibility and climate impact to the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from onboarding to delivering emissions insights
• Guide customers on best practice in financed emissions, with deep PCAF expertise
• Train and support users to get maximum value from the platform
• Transform complex datasets into decision-useful carbon data
• Influence internal product development with sustainability insight
• Be a trusted carbon accounting advisor — both externally and internally

About You

• 3–5 years in carbon advisory roles, with hands-on experience in footprinting
• Deep understanding of PCAF and financed emissions methodologies
• Strong communication skills; confident engaging senior stakeholders
• Data savvy — ideally with experience in visualisation tools
• Highly detail-oriented and comfortable juggling priorities
• Mission-driven, proactive, and excited to help shape a category-defining company
