The Role:

This is a brand-new, first-of-its-kind position within our European organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring that the venues and wider estates function deliver all services in connection with environmental legal requirements, best practice principles, and ASM Acts! Sustainability policy.

Thus, ensuring that ASM Global is fully compliant with current legislative requirements and that all engineering services infrastructure are optimised to operate effectively, efficiently, and with minimal environmental impact. The post holder will work closely with the Estate Hub, Capital Delivery, and venue operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our Environmental Management System.
• Hold all departments, third parties, and contractors operating at our venues accountable for their environmental impact and performance.
• Target projects to maximise impact of available Capital Expenditure and reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
• Develop and maintain group standards and drive the sustainability agenda.

We are looking for someone with:

• Demonstrable industry experience in experiencing, managing, interpreting, and implementing environmental legislation.
• Knowledge of legal requirements and pollution prevention.
• A full member of IEMA or equivalent (desirable).
• NEBOSH National General Certificate.
• Expert report writing, presentation, and grammar skills.
• Strong people management experience (both direct staff and agency/contractors).
