Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Sustainability Data Manager (maternity cover) to lead the development and delivery of sustainability reporting and carbon accounting across the company. You will collect, analyse and communicate data with global stakeholders to drive progress against key goals.

The role requires strong Excel skills, advanced data analytics and a hands-on approach to building systems for data capture, reporting and engagement across shows worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experienced with Excel, including complex formulas.
• Sophisticated data analytics.
• Strong understanding of carbon reporting/accounting.
• Prior corporate experience or experience of working on carbon accounting/reporting.
• Passion for a sustainability related / Corporate Responsibility field.
• Excellent written and confident verbal communication.
• Accurate attention to detail.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for all climate data including data captured by venues, event footprinting and attendee/exhibitor travel.
• Establish systems and tools to collect, capture, analyse and report RX sustainability data.
• Collect, input and analyse scope 3 emissions data from our shows globally to further develop our carbon emissions model.
• Build the capacity of the RXPH team based in the Philippines to support sustainability data entry and reporting.
• Deliver workshops to event teams to help them understand their event carbon footprints and how this will inform a sustainability strategy.
• Develop a good understanding of sustainability initiatives across the business and collate it centrally.
• Raise awareness of the RX sustainability playbook, action plan and support engagement in carbon reduction strategies for show teams.
• Represent RX externally in industry workstreams related to the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative.
