Overview of role

This role is for a very ambitious and successful Sustainability Consultancy in the Built Environment.

Join their Green Certification Team, delivering projects focused on refurbishment & fit-outs. You will coordinate multiple project deliverables, either directly or with the wider team.

Role responsibilities and requirements

• Carrying out BREEAM, SKA, Well / Fitwell assessments on fit-out projects and refurbishments
• Delivering Net Zero, LCA, and ESG objectives in new build and existing buildings
• Project management
• Developing client relationships including investors, building managers, and contractors
• Conducting workshops, training, and presentations
• Working towards financial objectives and commercialization
• Research and analysis

Key skills and qualities needed

• Licensed BREEAM and/or SKA Assessor
• 3+ years experience in BREEAM consultancy
• MSc and/or BSc degree
• Experience with sustainability certification schemes: BREEAM, WELL, Ska, Fitwel, LEED
• Experience with fast-paced fit-out projects
• Experience working closely with contractors to tight schedules
• Capable project manager, coordinating multiple deliverables
• Understanding of real estate drivers and sustainability interactions
• Client-facing, excellent communicator, capable of discussing Net Zero, operational energy, Circularity, WLC, etc.
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and meticulous assessment approach
• Knowledge of Net Zero Carbon, NABERS, and ESG objectives
• Experience with planning submissions, especially GLA requirements
