This is a great opportunity for a qualified BREEAM Assessor or BREEAM AP to become part of a medium sized multidisciplinary consultancy based in Birmingham. You will become part of structured, passionate, and employee-owned company that has a fantastic reputation in the construction industry.
The role:
* Lead BREEAM assessments from pre-assessment through to post-construction stages
* Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to achieve sustainability targets
* Oversee evidence gathering and manage credit submissions for certification
* Keep current with sustainability legislation and BREEAM guidelines
* Offer expert advice on sustainability throughout all phases of a project
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a licenced BREEAM Assessor or hold their AP accreditation
* Have experience conducting BREEAM Assessments
* Knowledge and experience of any of the following schemes is beneficial; Home Quality Mark (HQM), BREEAM Communities, SKA, WELL, Fitwel, CEEQUAL and DREAM
* Awareness and knowledge of industry regulations and sector initiatives including net zero carbon, LETI, NABERS etc
* Knowledge and experience of working on embodied carbon Life Cycle Assessments (beneficial)
* Team player capable of working in a multi-discipline environment
* Experience of working with multiple design teams and clients on a variety of projects
