Job description

Are you an experienced sustainability professional looking to take the next step in your career? A leading environmental building services consultancy is seeking a passionate and skilled Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team in the West Midlands.

The Role -

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping sustainable solutions within the built environment. You'll contribute to high-impact projects across both public and private sectors, from early planning stages through to project completion—covering new builds and refurbishments.

As a Consultant, you’ll take on greater project ownership, while still benefiting from the support of a collaborative and experienced team. You’ll help drive innovation in sustainable design, low-carbon strategies, and environmental assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage BREEAM assessments, providing technical input and guidance to clients and junior team members
  • Develop and deliver sustainability statements for planning applications
  • Conduct low and zero carbon (LZC) feasibility studies
  • Perform passive design analysis and contribute to energy strategies
  • Use One Click LCA or similar tools to model and report on embodied carbon
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the ongoing development of internal knowledge and best practices

Opportunities to broaden your role into WELL, Fitwel, SKA, and circular economy consultancy areas will be available as you grow with the business.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate sustainability professional that is looking to take the next step in their career. This offers a great salary and extensive benefits, as well as multiple opportunities for progression.
