Qualifications

Sustainability Consultant

Location: Cheshire / Hybrid ( around 3 days a week in office)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

A successful provider of technical compliance and sustainability services is looking to hire an experienced sustainability consultant to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will be part of a team helping to deliver a range of projects, using technical expertise to do determine the best sustainability practices for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sustainability assessments including BREEAM/ Home Quality Mark and other frameworks
  • Conduct carbon and energy assessments, including SAP, SBEM and life cycle analysis (LCA)
  • Assist clients in achieving compliance with current building regulations and sustainability targets
  • Stay up to date with the latest policy, legislative and industry developments in sustainability and the built environment

What we’re looking for

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a consultancy or related sustainability role
  • A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science or other relevant fields
  • One Click LCA
  • Skills in Energy Modelling software ( e.g. SAP/ DesignBuilder/ IES VE) preferred
  • Working knowledge of UK planning policy, building regulations and sustainability frameworks
  • Full UK driving license with less than 3 points
  • BREEAM knowledge
