Graduate Sustainability Consultant

£30,000 – £33,000 | Hybrid | Cambridge (1 day/month)

Are you driven by climate impact? Passionate about decarbonisation and eager to apply your skills to solving real-world energy challenges? We’re looking for a highly motivated Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join a small, mission-led team working at the intersection of energy, data, and climate action.

About the Role

You’ll be working alongside experienced consultants and engineers to help deliver innovative sustainability and decarbonisation strategies for clients ranging from local authorities to large estates and private sector organisations. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to projects that accelerate the transition to net zero — with plenty of room to grow and shape your own path.

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for climate change, sustainability, and systems change
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn
• Interest in energy systems, carbon footprints, and net-zero strategies
• Excellent communication skills

• Degree in Sustainability/Similar

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Python or other programming/data tools
• Familiarity with energy data, emissions modelling, or GIS
• Exposure to decarbonisation, heat planning, or local energy systems (even through uni projects)
