Job summary

Mattinson Partnership is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join their multidisciplinary building services and sustainability team in Birmingham or Nottingham. You will deliver sustainability advice across healthcare, education, residential, commercial and other sectors, supporting the design process from planning through to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sustainability projects within the built environment.
• BREEAM AP experience and a good working knowledge of BREEAM.
• A relevant degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience with One Click LCA is beneficial, but training can be provided.
• Strong communication, organisation and project management skills.
• A genuine interest in sustainable design and the drive to develop within the sector.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sustainability advice across a variety of projects, working with public and private sector clients from planning through to construction and completion.
• Carry out BREEAM assessments for new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Prepare sustainability statements for planning.
• Conduct LZC technology feasibility studies.
• Perform passive design analysis.
• Model embodied and whole-life carbon using One Click LCA.
• Support wider sustainability services including ESG, WELL, SKA and circular economy assessments.

An established, multidisciplinary building services and sustainability consultancy are looking to appointment a Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team in either Birmingham or Nottingham.

The business works across a diverse range of high-profile projects within healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and public sector environments, helping clients deliver more sustainable and energy-efficient buildings. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where sustainability is embedded into the design process, rather than being an afterthought.
