Description

Were seeking a Sustainability & Compliance Lead to champion environmental and energy performance at the site level with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards.

This role is perfect for someone who combines a passion for sustainability with strong data analysis skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. Working closely with internal teams and external partners youll play a key role in reducing environmental impact driving energy efficiency and advancing initiatives that align with our wider corporate ESG strategy.

As a key player in shaping and delivering the sites sustainability agenda your work will contribute directly to measurable improvements in performance regulatory compliance and long-term environmental impact.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 standards and lead site audits.
  • Develop and maintain the sites Sustainability Roadmap to drive measurable improvements.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives focused on energy efficiency waste reduction and environmental impact.
  • Manage and analyse sustainability data including energy use and ESG (Environmental Social & Governance) metrics.
  • Support internal engagement through sustainability programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to integrate sustainability into daily operations.
  • Coordinate sustainability submissions including Ecovadis customer tenders and ESG reports.
  • Identify and drive areas for improvement in sustainability and compliance practices.
  • Ownership of the sites waste management process including reporting and driving improvements.
  • Support HSES tactical and operational activities to ensure compliance and efficiency within budget constraints.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Familiarity with sustainability topics the circular economy and reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of carbon management and reduction in a business environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 standards.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a process-driven approach.
  • Ability to analyse data identify trends and drive solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal project management and communication skills.

WE VALUE:

  • Experience with SAP and/or O9 MRP Supply Planning tools is an advantage
  • ISO Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 desirable.
