To further develop and implement our ambitious carbon and environmental sustainability strategy, we are looking for a Sustainability Business Partner. The purpose of this role is to influence a real step change in the carbon and environmental culture, capability, and performance of Ringway Jacobs, in order to build a culture dedicated to continuous improvement and best practice.

The Role

  1. Developing and implementing meaningful carbon reduction strategies in line with our business plan and the objectives of our clients.
  2. Maintaining environmental compliance and controls in line with ISO 14001, PAS 2080, and industry best practices.
  3. Actively identifying and implementing sustainability best practice trends (e.g., carbon accounting, biodiversity improvement, circular economy, social impact, etc.).
  4. Act as the main point of contact for Ringway Jacobs with the Environment Agency, other enforcing authorities, and external audit bodies as required.

About You

  1. Environmental experience and passion around environmental issues.
  2. Experience in Permitting and Waste Management implementation (desirable).
  3. Detailed knowledge of Environmental Legislation (desirable).
