Job description

The sustainability agenda is undergoing a recalibration - and it's never been more important to articulate the investment case, linking sustainability to value, resilience, and long-term performance.

We're looking for a passionate sustainability communicator who understands this shift - someone fluent in the language of investment, able to align stakeholders around a shared vision, navigate a dynamic regulatory landscape, and inspire action to drive our strategy forward.

In this role, you'll join a passionate, dynamic, and close-knit pan-European sustainability team. Reporting directly to the Head of Investment Management Sustainability, you'll contribute to the delivery of PATRIZIA's global sustainability strategy - spanning both our corporate and investment activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of our corporate sustainability strategy and initiatives
  • Lead the preparation of PATRIZIA's annual Sustainability Report and Non-Financial Statement
  • Drive alignment with leading sustainability standards and regulatory frameworks, including CSRD, TCFD, and evolving best practices
  • Manage ESG disclosures and benchmarking submissions (e.g. PRI, CDP, GRESB)
  • Monitor and interpret ESG regulatory developments (particularly EU-level) and support implementation across the company
  • Support ESG data collection, management, and development of our sustainability systems landscape
  • Facilitate sustainability audits, periodic materiality assessments, and internal strategy workshops
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally on ESG publications, messaging, and thought leadership
  • Drive engagement through insight sharing, training, and compelling presentations that align stakeholders and showcase our sustainability edge
  • Curate sustainability case studies and oversee our internal ESG knowledge library
  • Represent PATRIZIA at industry events and forums, and conduct market research through active networking and horizon scanning
What we're looking for
  • A passionate and motivated communicator who understands the power of reporting and storytelling in advancing sustainability outcomes
  • Proven experience and subject matter expertise in corporate sustainability
  • Knowledge of investment management, real estate, infrastructure, or a related sector
  • Expertise across key ESG frameworks and standards (e.g. CSRD, TCFD, GRI, PRI, GRESB), with hands-on experience delivering disclosures
  • A confident writer and presenter, able to adapt communication for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • A fast learner and tech-savvy problem solver - fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, and open to using AI tools to elevate your work
  • A collaborative and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail, with excellent time management skills
  • University degree in sustainability, finance, real estate, or a related discipline
  • Fluent English is essential; German or other European languages are a strong plus
  • Growth mindset, curiosity, and a drive to make a real-world impact
What We Offer
  • Flexible working options
  • Learning and development opportunities, including courses and mentorship
  • Career progression and talent development programs
  • Health and well-being benefits, including virtual fitness classes
  • Competitive pay and paid time off, including volunteering days
  • Hybrid working model, from our new central London HQ, with great amenities, including a gym, social spaces, and excellent food options on-site.
