Role Title: Sustainability Analyst
Duration: contract to run until 30/11/2025
Location: Sheffield / Birmingham 60% onsite, 40% remote
Rate: up to £501 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Key Skills/Requirements

• Understanding of key sustainability issues and trends and their link to business value
• Experience working on sustainability projects
• Appreciation of the technology sector, especially infrastructure technology
• Proven experience with GHG accounting and net zero transition principles, including PCF and LCA
• Understanding energy modelling and performance analysis
• Experience with problem-solving using design thinking principles
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret datasets
• Ability to develop narratives on environmental and sustainability issues
• Experience interacting with stakeholders across business areas
• Knowledge of ESG strategies, decarbonization, energy transition, circular economy, and environmental management

Key Accountabilities

• Identify requirements and pathways for CTO infrastructure sustainability programs via stakeholder engagement and data analysis
• Analyze inputs to understand business impacts and recommend improvements
• Develop proposals and secure buy-in from Technology SMEs on net zero goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to craft solutions to business problems
• Conduct sustainability assessments and identify improvement opportunities
• Create comprehensive project documentation
• Develop sustainability metrics and reporting mechanisms
• Establish partnerships with external organizations in sustainability initiatives
