Kata! Japanese Restaurants is looking for experienced Sushi Chef &/Or Hot Chef

We have multiple positions available, both full-time and part-time. Wage is negotiable, ranging from £12 to £15 per hour based on experience.

Our popular independent Japanese restaurant is located in Harringay N4. It has been nominated in Timeout Love London awards from 2014 to 2018 as one of the best local restaurants in North London. The nearest tube/train station is Harringay Green Lanes (N4).

Candidate Requirements:

• Knowledge of sushi skills, fish cutting, and experience in sushi rolling is essential.
• Knowledge of hot section (grill, teppan, wok, or fry) and familiarity with popular donburi dishes will be strongly considered.
• Experience with other cuisines such as Chinese, European, or Sunday roasts is advantageous.
• Must be a team player but also able to work independently.
• High standards in food hygiene and awareness of regulations.
• Good command of English.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
