Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Management-Level Sushi Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional sushi preparation techniques, and a passion for quality and innovation. The Sushi Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety, and contribute to menu development and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine in accordance with restaurant standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and professional operations.
  • Maintain inventory levels, manage supply orders, and control food costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Develop and update sushi menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative concepts.
  • Monitor and uphold cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating kitchen staff performance.
  • Collaborate with management on overall restaurant operations and goals.
  • Manage customer feedback, resolve any service issues related to food quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a sushi chef with a strong portfolio of work.
