Job summary

Sticks'n'Sushi UK Limited in Birmingham is seeking a Sushi Chef to join our brand new opening. You will craft maki, sashimi, nigiri and more with precision, in a fast-paced kitchen, while maintaining our high standards.

We value chefs who are passionate, collaborative and eager to learn about our Danish and Japanese roots, bringing fresh creativity and a positive, team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience making sushi including maki, sashimi and nigiri.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Fluent or confident English communication.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Respect for Japanese and Danish sushi traditions while bringing personal creativity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi types with skill and care.
• Provide excellent food quality to guests and maintain high standards.
• Contribute to a joyful dining experience that encourages guest return.

We are looking for a Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team at our brand new opening in Birmingham.

Someone who is a true craftsperson, passionate about creating things in the best way, to the very best they can be. You’ll have busy kitchen experience, but a calm spirit.

• You’ll make different types of outstanding sushi; maki, sashimi, nigiri and more.
• You’ll use your skills and care to serve excellent food for every guest.

• You’ll be part of a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
