The role

As a Survival Equipment Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an interesting, dynamic and rewarding role utilising specialist skills whilst operating within a small team, albeit being part of a much bigger International organisation.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Helmet and life jacket maintenance
  • Checking of parachute, flying clothing, and all safety elements inc in flying
  • Student kitting of flying clothing
  • Cadet training and fitting

This role is full time and based onsite at our Glasgow site.

Essential experience of the Survival Equipment Supervisor:

  • Proven work requirements in previous role to include the ability to work flexibly individually and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates an active two-way engagement with all customers and stakeholders including people within the organisation.
  • Good analytical/problem solving skills in previous roles evidenced
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment in a fitting
  • Previous experience in Q-SE-AC (Helmet Fitting)

Qualifications for the Survival Equipment Supervisor:

  • RAF Safety Equipment Course or civilian equivalent.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain CTC security clearance for this role.
