Surveyor / Senior Surveyor – Valuation - Specialist Markets (Self Storage)
Location - London
We have an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our fast-growing Specialist Markets Valuation & Advisory division at Cushman & Wakefield. This role sits within our Self Storage team, working across the UK and European markets.
You’ll be part of a dynamic team advising a prestigious client base that includes institutions, FTSE-listed property companies, private equity firms, REITs, and debt providers. Our services span valuation, brokerage, fund sourcing, consultancy, and due diligence, offering a diverse and rewarding project portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
• Delivering high-quality valuation and advisory services to clients from day one.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships across regional, national, and international mandates.
• Supporting business development through networking, pitches, and client meetings.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external professionals to provide a full-service offering.
• Contributing to team targets and helping grow our presence in the self storage sector.
What We’re Looking For:
• MRICS qualified, with 1–3 years post-qualification experience.
• A strong communicator with excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Commercially aware, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in self storage is not essential – we’ll support your development.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.
• Full driving licence and access to transport.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Background in a large practice or corporate environment.
• Understanding of business development and client management.
• Familiarity with valuation tools and DCF models (training provided if needed).
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and industry-specific software.
