Surveyor / Senior Surveyor – Residential Valuation & Development – London – Up to £55,000 Per Annum + Car Allowance + Bonus

An immediate opportunity has arisen to work within a leading residential team for one of the UKs specialist property consultancies based in their London office. The Residential Investment & Development team has grown due to ongoing client wins and the team are looking to recruit either a Surveyor or recently promoted Senior Surveyor in to the team.

You will be working as part of a team that advises Registered Providers to premium schemes in central London. A large majority of the focus will be on developments, providing valuation advice to lenders, equity and developers but also to value operating assets.

Job Role

• Providing Valuation Advisory services – including residual appraisals / GDVs / Trading Valuations and assignment fee valuations Valuing Senior Housing Developments and advising on senior living rentals Preparing and issuing reports to advise on value – including valuations for development finance, financial reporting, acquisition and viability. The role will require competence in residual appraisals, detailed cash flow analysis and excellent report writing skills. Working across the Residential Development & Healthcare teams

Skills Required:

• MRICS qualified with valuation advisory experience – ideally RICS registered Valuer status Exposure of working with DCFs – or an interest to carry out financial analysis Exposure within any of the following markets - Residential / Residential Development / Hotels / Care / Social Housing or Student Accommodation Analytical approach with attention to detail and a good work ethic. Proficient with Argus Developer, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Interest in the seniors housing sector. Knowledge and understanding of the real estate market.
