Job description

Are you a motivated Agency or General Practice Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most respected property consultancies in the South West - known for its strong client relationships, collaborative culture, and forward-thinking approach.

About the Role

As part of the Taunton-based team, you'll play a key role in managing the letting and sale of commercial properties, including office, industrial, and retail spaces across Somerset. You'll also contribute to market research, consultancy work, and report preparation, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Property Marketing & Transactions - Handle commercial property sales and lettings, ensuring smooth transactions from listing to completion.
  2. Viewings & Negotiations - Conduct property viewings, negotiate with interested parties, and prepare Heads of Terms agreements.
  3. Client & Applicant Liaison - Act as a key point of contact, providing updates to clients and responding to applicant enquiries.
  4. Market Research & Reporting - Assist in preparing marketing materials, market updates, and consultancy reports to support business growth.
  5. Compliance & Systems Management - Ensure Health & Safety protocols are met, and property listings are accurately maintained across portals.
  6. Transactional Oversight - Monitor progress once deals are with solicitors, ensuring a seamless process for clients.

Who We're Looking For

  1. RICS qualification (or working towards it) is desirable, but not essential.
  2. Strong Microsoft Office & industry software proficiency.
  3. A self-starter who thrives in both independent and team settings.
  4. Excellent research & analytical skills with attention to detail.
  5. A natural communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  6. Full UK driving licence required.
  7. A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to new challenges.
