Surveyor / Project Manager

Job Description

Structural Glass Design manufactures and installs walk-on and drive-on glass floors and roof lights. We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our small, busy team.

Duties include:

1. Surveying glass floor/rooflight projects across the UK, involving some overnight stays from home, primarily in London & the South.
2. Inputting survey data into our online database system.
3. Preparing CAD drawings.
4. Responding to customer queries via phone and email.
5. Liaising with clients to resolve queries and finalize designs throughout the project lifecycle, noting that most projects are short-term.
6. Preparing RAMS and lifting plans.
7. Coordinating with installers and the manufacturing team as needed.

Training on our product designs will be provided.

Requirements

Applicants should have previous experience in surveying or project management, and experience in the construction industry is essential. Good IT skills and a valid driving license are also required. The ability to communicate effectively and approachable manner with customers via email, phone, and face-to-face is important, making this role suitable for a friendly and organized individual.
