Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking a Surveyor to provide dimensional control on MEH on-site activities. You will set out and verify coordinates, support installation teams, and ensure compliance with designed tolerances for temporary and permanent equipment.

Responsibilities include densifying survey control, producing as-built data, conducting periodic instrument calibration, attending site meetings, and reporting to the MEH Alliance Surveying Lead.

Qualificações

• Minimum Level 5 qualification (HND) or above in surveying.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience on a mechanical installation project.
• Strong setting out experience.
• Experience with survey equipment and production of survey reports.
• Conversant with related legislation, codes, and standards.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Experience in MS Office - Excel, Word.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake surveying activities safely and in accordance with CDM Regulations.
• Ensure surveying activities align with relevant specifications.
• Provide input for progress reporting on surveying within the erection area.
• Review setting-out data to check design coordinates against site grid.
• Densify survey control where needed.
• Complete setting-out surveys before equipment arrival and support installation teams to locate equipment and produce as-built surveys.
• Set out mechanical, electrical and HVAC elements.
• Provide centreline and level datum for equipment installation.
• Survey pipe spools for as-fabricated data including bolt hole rotations and flange deflections.
• Survey installed elements to provide visual data for site conditions.
• Undertake periodic instrument calibration checks.
• Report issues to the MEH Alliance Surveying Lead.
• Attend site meetings with project stakeholders.

The Surveyor will provide dimensional control on site for MEH activities.

Key Deliverables

• Ensure all surveying activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, and in accordance with the CDM Regulations
• Ensure all surveying activities are executed in line with relevant specifications
• Provide input for progress reporting on surveying activities within the Erection Area
• Review any supplied setting out data to check design co-ordinates against the site grid system to ensure compatibility
• Densify Survey Control where needed.
• Complete setting out surveys prior to equipment arriving on site for layout of the temporary equipment and the permanent equipment. Then continue to support the installation teams to final locate equipment then conduct post install location surveys for as built drawings all to the ensure compliance to the designed tolerances
• Setting out of mechanical, electrical and HVAC elements.
• Provide accurate centreline and level datum’s to enable accurate installation of mechanical equipment, pipe supports and piping systems
• Conduct surveys on pipe spools to provide as fabricated data including bolt hole rotations and flange deflections.

Key Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum of a level 5 qualification (HND) or above in a surveying field or closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on a mechanical installation project. This requirement is mandatory
• Strong Setting out experience.
• Experience in the use of survey equipment (Total Station, digital level) and the production of survey reports.
• Conversant with all related legislation, codes, and standards.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations
• Experience in MS Office - Excel, Word

Desirable

• 2 years’ experience as an onsite surveyor
• Experienced in working in a Joint Venture or Alliance environment
• Starnet experience desirable.
• Offshore experience desirable.
