Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Surveying Technology - Inside Sales candidate to join our Superior Instrument division, which specializes in supplying land surveyors and contractors with the latest technology, equipment, supplies, and training to keep their job sites running efficiently. The role involves organizing the showroom, managing inventory, handling customer inquiries via phone and email, processing transfers, and ensuring a seamless customer experience both in-store and online. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product selection, and collaborate with our sales team to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly, address inquiries professionally, and assist with product selection to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Maintain an organized showroom with well-stocked, clearly labeled, and accessible products to create a welcoming environment.
  • Process customer orders efficiently, confirm product availability, and offer personalized recommendations.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to phone calls and emails, providing accurate information and resolving concerns.
  • Work with the sales team to manage orders, process payments, and support daily sales operations.
  • Use computer systems, including Microsoft Office, for inventory management, communication, and administrative tasks.
  • Oversee inventory transfers between locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet customer demands.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in construction equipment or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on organization and inventory control.
