Job Description

We are recruiting for a Surveying Director. The position offers a competitive base salary and car allowance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the surveying function to achieve strategic goals and service excellence
  • Exploring how data and AI can enhance surveying practices
  • Managing resources and workforce planning across digital and physical surveying
  • Driving performance through innovation, automation, and process improvement
  • Collaborating with technical and risk teams to ensure quality and compliance
  • Representing the company at industry meetings and developing key contacts
  • Overseeing ISO 9001 compliance and promoting continuous improvement
  • Championing transformation through data, technology, and customer insight

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in surveying, valuation, or mortgage services
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, survey and valuation products, and RICS regulation; RICS qualified
  • Data curiosity and enthusiasm about the future of surveying
  • Experience as a surveyor or in a lender risk team
  • Excellent leadership skills to inspire and develop teams
  • Effective communication at all levels with strong influencing skills
  • Experience managing budgets and leading high-performing teams
  • Commitment to good customer outcomes and high business ethics standards
