Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Survey Engineer to support a portfolio of rail infrastructure projects. Hybrid working with site visits across Swindon, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham or York will be required.

You will plan, deliver and assure survey activities, review outputs, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure surveys are accurate, compliant and delivered safely.

Qualifications

Current PTS certification or equivalent railway safety competency.
Current AC and DC competencies.
Demonstrable railway surveying experience.
Strong technical assurance and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and assure survey activities across rail projects.
Review technical outputs and ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support delivery.
Travel to offices and rail sites as required to support site surveys.
