Job Title: Survey Engineer
Location: Dyce, Aberdeen
Contract: Permanent
Description:
- Work under the supervision of Workshop Supervisors and the Workshop Manager.
- Maintain high safety standards and adhere to Company HSE Policies at all times.
- Ensure all equipment has comprehensive test procedures, revised regularly as needed.
- Follow company procedures for testing, maintenance, and calibration of rental equipment, ensuring high standards of work.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Update maintenance and calibration schedules for rental and test equipment.
- Record updates on rental assets, job reports, and other data in the company asset tracking system.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in all workshop areas.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and stock management.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels for smooth information flow.
- Undertake manufacturer training courses as required.
- Be prepared to work off-site, including mobilizations on vessels in port around the UK, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- HNC or HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Previous experience in Survey Engineering at a similar level.
- Flexible approach to tasks and roles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
