Job description

Job Title: Survey Engineer
Location: Dyce, Aberdeen
Contract: Permanent

Description:
  • Work under the supervision of Workshop Supervisors and the Workshop Manager.
  • Maintain high safety standards and adhere to Company HSE Policies at all times.
  • Ensure all equipment has comprehensive test procedures, revised regularly as needed.
  • Follow company procedures for testing, maintenance, and calibration of rental equipment, ensuring high standards of work.
  • Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Update maintenance and calibration schedules for rental and test equipment.
  • Record updates on rental assets, job reports, and other data in the company asset tracking system.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in all workshop areas.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and stock management.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels for smooth information flow.
  • Undertake manufacturer training courses as required.
  • Be prepared to work off-site, including mobilizations on vessels in port around the UK, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • HNC or HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience in Survey Engineering at a similar level.
  • Flexible approach to tasks and roles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
