TEXO Recruitment are looking for a skilled Survey Engineer to join our client’s workshop team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with technical expertise in equipment testing, calibration, and maintenance.

Job Purpose:

To support the efficient operation of the workshop by carrying out the testing, calibration, maintenance, and tracking of rental and survey equipment to the highest safety and quality standards. The role ensures equipment readiness for deployment, contributes to operational excellence, and upholds compliance with all company procedures and HSE regulations.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• HNC or HND in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in Survey Engineering or a similar technical environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset tracking systems.
• Flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of Workshop Supervisors and the Workshop Manager.
• Ensure all tasks comply with the company’s HSE standards and safety procedures.
• Perform testing, maintenance, and calibration of rental and test equipment.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and update test/calibration schedules.
• Keep asset tracking systems current with job reports and equipment status.
• Support off-site mobilisations on vessels within the UK when required.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Liaise with vendors to coordinate timely spare parts and stock deliveries.
• Attend manufacturer training as required.
• Communicate effectively across departments to support smooth operations.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous hands-on experience in survey equipment calibration and maintenance.
