Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician in Cardiff to transform raw survey and laser scan data into precise 2D/3D deliverables for major infrastructure projects. The role demands hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and point clouds, with a focus on Scan-to-BIM workflows and data processing.

You will collaborate closely with civil engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality outputs while adhering to PAS 128 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years demonstrable experience with AutoCAD and Revit in a Survey CAD, Geospatial, or Engineering Technician role.
• Experience processing point-cloud datasets (LiDAR, reality-capture).
• Familiarity with PAS 128 subsurface utility documentation standards.

Responsabilités

• Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models from raw survey data and laser scans.
• Process, register and interpret point clouds and reality-capture data.
• Prepare and quality-check technical deliverables and support subsurface utility mapping.
