Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a proactive Surplus Stock Controller to support the management, recovery, and sale of surplus stock across Pladis operations. Responsibilities

• Manage the collection, tracking and sale of surplus and imperfect stock across multiple product categories.
• Maximise recovery value and revenue from surplus stock and waste streams.
• Deliver weekly and monthly sales performance against forecast targets.
• Build relationships with internal departments, external suppliers, and waste partners.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports on stock recovery, sales performance and waste stream activity.
• Maintain the Surplus Stock and Waste Dashboard with accurate data updates.
• Provide key performance data including sales values and waste recovery metrics.
• Support Site Management Teams and UK Waste Specialist through analysis and reporting.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve recovery.
