Job summary

Ilford Vets for Pets is seeking an experienced vet surgeon to join our growing practice at the busy Newbury Park site. The role offers partnership opportunities for the right candidate and a supportive, modern hospital with ultrasound, digital X-ray and in-house lab.

You will handle a high surgical caseload with strong medical skills, enjoy mentoring colleagues, and work a full-time 40-hour week over four days with a 1-in-3 weekend rota and no OOHs. Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in practice.
• Interest and aptitude in surgery.
• Desire to mentor colleagues and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high surgical caseload with strong medical skills.
• Provide veterinary care for small animals and support ongoing cases.
