Purosearch is actively seeking a Surgical Veterinary Surgeon for a modern, purpose-built practice in Middlesbrough. This part-time role involves 30 hours over 3 days with two surgery days and one consulting day, focusing on high-quality patient care and collaborative teamwork.

The practice opened in 2024, features advanced ultrasound, digital X-ray, two theatres, a dedicated dental suite and efficient nurse-led workflow. Salary ranges £50,000–£75,000 DOE pro rata.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in small animal surgery.
• Ultrasound experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Qualified veterinarian with active practice in the UK preferred.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for surgery to join a modern, purpose-built practice in Middlesbrough. This part-time role is perfect for a vet with 3+ years' experience, working 30 hours over 3 days, including two surgery days and one consulting day. Ultrasound experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Opened in 2024, the practice is equipped with advanced ultrasound, digital X-ray, two fully equipped theatres, a dedicated dental suite, orthopaedic equipment and a highly efficient nurse-led workflow, allowing vets to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
