NHS England – Thames Valley Local Office is seeking a Training Programme Director (T&O) with a strong interest in medical education. You will lead the regional training programme, work with the Head of School, and coordinate multi-professional education initiatives.

This is a secondment with a part-time pattern, bridging academic leadership with NHS service delivery. The role requires substantial educational leadership in the NHS, with emphasis on supervision, assessment, and learner

Competenze

• Proven leadership in educational settings.
• Experience managing multi-professional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Registration with UK medical regulatory body is required.

Mansioni

• Oversee the Regional Training Programme for the Specialty.
• Address trainee/trainer concerns and recruitment to training posts.
• Manage postgraduate programme activities including assessments, progression and rotations.
• Ensure compliance with national standards and Royal College guidelines.
