Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse for the Surgical Emergency Unit. You will support the team in delivering rapid assessment, treatment and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced 20-bed unit with ambulatory services.

The successful candidate will have ECG, vital signs monitoring, venepuncture, cannulation and catheterisation skills, with a focus on infection prevention and surgical admissions.

Competenze

• Experience in ECG recording, monitoring vital signs, venepuncture, venous cannulation and catheterisation is essential.
• Good knowledge of infection prevention and control and understanding of surgical admission processes.
