This is a key and varied role where you will play an essential part in our assembly operations—monitoring and coordinating production line activities, preparing schedules, resolving day-to-day issues, and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.

Your main tasks:
  • Supervising and directing the daily activities of assembly line workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, coaching and appraisals.
  • Creating reports and records of production processes, tools, issues, performance, and inventory; sharing them with plant managers and providing suggestions to improve productivity and quality.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators, achieving targets and required quality standards, and motivating the team to create a high-performance culture with improved efficiency.
  • Ensuring that day-to-day EH&S standards are maintained across the site.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Leading problem-solving efforts to resolve customer concerns and eliminate root causes.
Your ideal background:
  • Strong team leadership and motivational skills.
  • Experience in managing team performance through coaching, appraisals, and development plans.
  • Ability to drive employee engagement and foster a high-performing team culture.
  • Solid understanding of assembly operations and process optimization.
  • Capable of planning and organizing work to maximize labor, material, and equipment use.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
