Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service in Great Strickland is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a four-year-old autistic boy. The role involves assisting him to access a school holiday club twice a week and providing additional hours during term time, with close supervision and focus on safety.

You will assist with personal care, emotional regulation, and communication using communication boards.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to access School Holiday Club twice a week and additional hours during term time
• Supervise at all times with safety focus
• Assist with personal care, emotional regulation, and communication (using communication boards)
• Engage child in outdoor activities and play (open spaces, water, stones, letters/numbers, spins)
• Support with social and learning activities aligned to child interests
