Job summary

Fulbridge Social Care requires staff teams for numerous shift patterns within elderly care homes and disability support settings.

We are taking on trainee and qualified candidates as we offer full support, training including the Care Certificate, First Aid, Medication Administration, and the opportunity to gain qualifications in this field.

Please note that you would be required to complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction assessments prior to any placements being offered.

We require individuals who have the confidence, patience, and skill set to successfully work with our service users and make a positive impact on their lives. In this role, you will be part of a team to support service users throughout the day with tasks such as supporting with meal preparation, personal care, cleaning, and shopping.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Build strong professional relationships with the service users and other members of staff
  2. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users to live and for you to work
  3. Keep up to date with all communication and information systems
  4. Attend and actively participate in meetings as appropriate
  5. Protect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors, or other service users
  6. Write accurate reports for reviews and keep written records for monitoring purposes
  7. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern
  8. Ensure you keep yourself up to date with all procedures and policy changes
  9. Take responsible care for the health and safety of yourself and others
  10. Undertake any other additional duties as required, which are relevant to the post
