Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join the Supportive Care Service. The role focuses on assessing and managing complex symptoms and delivering personalised rehabilitation for patients with advanced organ conditions.
You will work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, coordinating with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists and psychologists to improve quality of life and functional independence.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated physiotherapist to join the Cardiff and Vale Supportive Care Service.
The Supportive Care Service provides specialist multidisciplinary care for people living with advanced liver, renal, respiratory and cardiac disease who are likely to be in the last one to two years of life. Our aim is to reduce symptom burden, promote independence, enhance quality of life and support people to live as well as possible for as long as possible.
Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team and alongside the Band 7 Physiotherapist, the successful candidate will play a key role in assessing and managing complex physical symptoms, delivering personalised rehabilitation, and supporting patients and their families to achieve what matters most to them.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist with an interest in supportive care, long-term conditions, rehabilitation and palliative approaches to care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
