Join a leading volunteering opportunity with Canal & River Trust to help enhance visitor experiences at the Avoncliffe Aqueduct. Your role will involve gathering feedback, interacting with visitors, and contributing to the improvement of the site, all while receiving comprehensive training.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help gather valuable feedback from visitors at the Avoncliffe Aqueduct. Your conversations will give visitors a chance to share what they love, what they’d like to see changed, and how we can make the Avoncliffe Aqueduct even more welcoming.
Your duties will involve:
This is a flexible volunteering opportunity that suits people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or just a couple of sessions a month, your contribution will make a real difference. You’ll need to be confident using a tablet so you can record responses, but no other previous knowledge or experience is needed. We’ll provide a comprehensive training session before you start, so you’ll be confident and ready to gather feedback.

Why we want you
Our Supporter volunteers ensure that the day-to-day nuts and bolts of the waterways happen, whether that’s monitoring activities on the towpath, supporting teams, or managing processes. This can include working with our Social Media Team, assisting with location and filming for productions, supporting our teams within offices, or conducting audits on the Towpath.
