Supporter Care Officer (Temporary Contract - 6 months)

The Talent Set is partnering with an esteemed health charity to recruit a Supporter Care Officer for a 6-month interim role. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporter engagement and possessing strong administrative skills to make a meaningful impact.

Position Details:

  • Temporary contract for 6 months, full-time or part-time options available.
  • £0.67 per day via PAYE + £16.60 holiday pay.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days a week in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to supporter enquiries via email, phone, and post, ensuring a positive donor experience.
  • Maintain accurate donor records using the CRM system (e.g., Raisers Edge), including data entry, gift processing, and supporter communications.
  • Support fundraising campaigns and events with administrative tasks, mailings, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely responses.
  • Identify and escalate supporter feedback issues to improve processes and satisfaction.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in supporter care, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably within a charity or nonprofit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with CRM databases like Raisers Edge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a warm and empathetic manner.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a hybrid working environment.
