A leading mental health charity in Aylesbury is seeking a Supported Self Help Practitioner to support clients facing financial struggles and guide them through self-help resources. Applicants should have experience or qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and a compassionate approach to client engagement. This permanent role offers a salary of £26,000 per year for full-time hours.

Buckinghamshire Mind is looking for a Supported Self Help Practitioner.
The Supported Self Help Practitioner is responsible for supporting a caseload of clients to work through self help resources and plays a key role in our Prevention Services and our partnership with Citizens Advice Bucks. The purpose of this role is to work 1:1 with people who are experiencing financial struggles, providing information, signposting and guidance through self help resources.

Buckinghamshire Mind is an independent charity providing trusted mental health services to our communities. We are affiliated with national Mind and are part of a network of over 100 Local Minds. We promote wellbeing and recovery; we prevent mental ill health; we offer talking therapies and we provide support in times of crisis.
Supported Self Help is an early intervention service co-produced by national Mind and Local Minds and informed by Lived Experience. Clients seeking support at Citizens Advice Bucks will be referred to support self help based on their needs.
