Supported Learning Technician – Join a Leading College in Cambridgeshire!

Cambridge

Part-time | 22.5 hours per week | Year-round

Actual salary: £16,312 – £17,409 (FTE: £26,825 – £28,629)

We're working with a College in Cambridge, an outstanding and forward-thinking FE college, to recruit a Supported Learning Technician to support their specialist learning environments across the Cambridge and Huntingdon campuses.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in hands-on settings and wants to be part of an inclusive and inspiring education community.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Preparing and maintaining tools, materials, and resources for workshops, art, horticulture, and animal care sessions


  • Supporting learners during practical activities in a safe and structured environment


  • Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and managing deliveries


  • Maintaining health & safety standards and conducting risk assessments


  • Caring for small animals during holiday/weekend cover


  • Collaborating with teaching staff and promoting the college at events


    What You’ll Need:
    • Experience in a similar practical support or technician role (educational setting preferred)


    • Strong organisational skills with a hands-on, proactive approach


    • Ability to use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment


    • Great communication and team-working skills


    • Flexibility to work across both campuses
