Job description

Trust Housing have an exciting vacancy for a Supported Housing Worker to join our team at Fife. In return you will receive a competitive hourly rate of GBP13 per hour.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as our Supported Housing Worker, we will offer you:

  • 16.75 contracted hours per week worked over average 3 days on a rolling 4-week rota:
    - Week 1: Wed 8.30am-3.00pm; Thurs 2.30pm-9.00pm
    - Week 2: Wed 2.30pm-9.00pm; Sat and Sun 2.30pm-9.00pm
    - Week 3: Tues 2.30pm-9.00pm; Friday 1.30pm-9.00pm
    - Week 4: Mon 2.30pm-9.00pm: Sat and Sun 8.00am-3.00pm

  • Working every second weekend
  • Competitive hourly rate of GBP13.00 per hour

Primarily serving older people in our communities we also provide housing for families and individuals. We have over 4,000 households across the length and breadth of Scotland, from the Highlands and Islands all the way down to the Borders.

What we re looking for in our Supported Housing Worker:

You ll be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room, there may also be very occasional kitchen duties. It ll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you ll bring to this important role.

Skills and experience we're looking for in our Supported Housing Worker:

Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing continued personal development.
