We're looking for a practitioner to join The Northern Learning Disabilities Team based in North Norfolk. Covering North Norfolk and Broadland, our service provides an integrated Health and Social Care approach to assessment and support in the community. Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Community Health and Care Trust (NCH&C) deliver together a single service for adults with a Learning Disability. We are an integrated Health and Social Care team providing specialist Learning Disability support to adults in the community.

About You

You will be able to work under pressure, be well organised, and effectively prioritise. You will need to have a positive attitude and enjoy finding creative and innovative solutions. You should have excellent communication skills, record keeping, and keyboard skills. A commitment to excellent customer service and multi-agency working is essential. You will build strong partnerships with service users and their families, be ambitious about what people can achieve, and confidently explore ideas for positive outcomes.

Our Supported Assistant Practitioners (Scale F) participate in a 9-month bespoke support programme, enabling progression to an Assistant Practitioner role (Scale G), subject to satisfactory completion. For more details, see our Terms and Conditions.
